Introduction:
A. Worship is an inherent duty of man
1. We are created to worship God. (Psalms 148:1-10)
2. We are commanded to worship God. (Psalms 149:1-3)
B. Worship brings delight to God
1. God takes delight in His Creation. (Psalms 104:1)
2. God takes delight in Christ. (Matthew 17:5; Isaiah 42:1)
3. God takes delight in the Church. (Psalms 149:4; 147:10-11)
C. Worship produce deliverance to God’s people
1. Deliverance from our personal struggles. (Psalms 149:4-5)
2. Deliverance from our external struggles. (Psalms 149:7-8)
D. Worship is a demonstration of God’s glory
1. God’s glory is removed when we are not aligned to Him. (Romans 3:23; 1 Samuel 4:21)
2. God’s glory is regained when we worship Him wholeheartedly. (2 Chronicles 7:1-2; 2 Corinthians 3:16-18)
