1. Shepherds were socially, morally, religiously and legally ostracized (v. 8-9)
2. Shepherds were reconciled to God and to one another (v. 10-11)
B. THE SHEPHERDS WERE RESCUED
1. Jesus is the Savior (v. 11)
2. Jesus is the Messiah (v. 11)
3. Jesus is Lord (v. 12)
4. Jesus is Peace (v. 14)
C. THE SHEPHERDS WERE RESTORED
1. They were restored of their worth (v. 14-15)
2. They were restored of their work (v. 16-17)
3. They were restored of their witness (v. 20)
