The theme of Exodus
A. GOD CONFIRMS HIS WORK THROUGH SIGNS
1. God uses ordinary things (v. 4:1-5)
2. God uses our pain and weaknesses (v. 4:6-7)
3. God uses the circumstances beyond our control (v. 4:8-9)
B. GOD PROVIDES US WITH HIS SUFFICIENCY
1. God assures us with His presence (v. 4:10-13; Acts 7:22; 19:3, 25)
2. God sends other people to help us (v. 4:14-16)
C. GOD GIVES US SECOND CHANCES
1. God has a purpose for each one of us (v. 2:10, 11-12, 16-17)
2. God pursues us even if we fail (v. 4:18-20)
“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are.” (1 Corinthians 1:27-29)
