A. THE BETRAYAL IN PHILADELPHIA
1. Displaced by a circumstance beyond their control
2. Misled by leaders they trusted
3. Overwhelmed by continuous calamity
4. Abandoned by those they hoped could help
B. THE BURDEN OF THE PEOPLE IN PHILADELPHIA
1. They in tension (v. 8)
2. They endured with tenacity (v. 8, 10)
3. They were treasured by God (v. 9)
C. THE BLESSINGS OF THE FAITHFUL IN PHILADELPHIA
1. God gave them an open door (v. 7-8)
2. God will defeat their enemy (v. 9)
3. God assured their deliverance from the hour of trial (v. 10-11)
4. God guaranteed them a secure dwelling (v. 12)
Conclusion
Let us walk through it with faith, knowing that His promises are sure, His protection is unwavering, and His presence is eternal."
