1. Daniel was only 16 years old when he was captured by King Nebuchadnezzar from Jerusalem and brought to Babylon, but his deep faith in God made him victorious.
2. Daniel survived the 3-yr brainwashing enculturation at the King’s Academy, where he chose vegetarian instead of the Babylonian diet, where he was taught the language and literature of the Babylonians, where he graduated ten times smarter than all the wise men of Babylon (Dan. 1:18-20).
3. Daniel influenced King Nebuchadnezzar to have faith in Jehovah God because of his God-given wisdom to interpret the dreams of the King (Dan. 2:46-47; Dan. 4:37).
4. Daniel rebuked King Belteshazzar for his pride and announced his downfall, which happened on the same day (Dan. 5:13-30).
5. Daniel chose to be thrown into the lion’s den by refusing to pray to King Darius for 30 days, instead of praying to Jehovah God as usual, but God protected and prospered Daniel (Dan. 6:1-28).
6. Daniel served with high positions four Kings: Nebuchadnezzar, Belteshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus, after graduating from the King’s Academy at age 19 until he was 83 years old (Dan. 1:21; Dan. 6:28; Dan. 10:1).
