The Edenic Heart

The Edenic Heart – Charisma Life Church

Eden was the place of the garden where Adam and Eve lived at first. In Hebrew, Eden means “pleasure, delight.”

An Edenic heart is like a garden of delight, enjoying the pleasure of communion and fellowship with God (1 Cor. 1:9; 1 John 1:5-7).

An Edenic heart is a garden of devotion, purely devoted to loving and serving God (Matt. 5:8).

How can your heart become Edenic, or delightful? Ponder these Scriptures:

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”
(Prov. 3:5).

“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life” (Prov. 4:23).

“Test me, O LORD, and try me, examine my heart and my mind” (Psalm 26:2).

“In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent” (Psalm 4:4)

“I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders” (Psalm 9:1).

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer” (Psalm 19:14).

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music”
(Psalm 57:7).

“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge” (Psalm 62:8).

Prayer: Lord, make my heart a garden of prayer and praise to you, all day long, everyday. Amen.
